How To paint

  Step 1: Clean pottery piece with a damp sponge.
​ Materials you will need - 
* Paint brushes (we recommend using one smaller and one larger). 
* A paint sponge
* Paint colors of your choice!

Step 2:  Dampen your paint sponge with water. Make sure to ring out all of the extra water from your sponge. Dip sponge into paint and apply to pottery with dabbing motion.  
Tip: Aim to get three (3) coats of paint on your background. It's also okay if you get paint inside of the black lines!

Step 3: When you are done with your background, you can now paint in your design/ letters using a paint brush.
Tip: Aim to get three (3) coats of paint on your design. It's also okay if you get paint on top of the black lines.

Step 4: Once your design is painted in, use a writer bottle to go over the black outlines. 
Tip: You only need one (1) coat of paint for the black lines.

Step 5: When finished, leave your piece at your table and we will do the rest!
