Q: What is the cost, and when do I pay?
A: The price of the pottery ranges from $1 - $30 depending on the size and intricacy of the piece. The paint, glazing & firing is included in the price...no studio fee!  Canvases are priced by size, and they start at $10.  This price also includes use of paint and brushes!  You pay the day you begin your piece.

Q: How much time should we allow for painting?
A: It generally takes an hour to three hours depending on the intricacy of the piece and design, and the level of perfection the artist wants to achieve.

Q: Do we need to make an appointment?
A: For walk-ins, we recommend you make an appointment for a group of 4 or more painters, or on the weekend. Otherwise, you are welcome to come in any time during open hours!  Just make sure to allow yourself plenty of time to paint before closing. If you are intending to attend a class, you must make a reservation.

Q: What if I do not finish painting my pottery?
A: Don't worry!  We hold "work in progress" pieces for 60 days past their purchase date.

Q: How long does it take to get our piece of pottery back?
A: It takes approximately up to 7 days to overglaze and fire your piece. We'll call you when your piece is finished and ready to be picked up!

Q: Do you only do pottery?
A: Of course not!  Paint The Towne offers a variety of Wine & Canvas classes for those 21+, and Cookies & Canvas classes for children!  See the "Upcoming Events" tab for details.  (Wine classes may be offered at a reduced price for those who do not want wine.)  We also offer wet clay classes, Zentangle classes, and are currently experimenting with glass fusion.  We can melt glass bottles, and can help you create glass jewelry using frit.

Q: Do I have to attend a class to learn different techniques that I see mentioned on this website?
A: No, our employees will be more than happy to give you one-on-one advice on creating your masterpiece!
Canvases and acrylic paints are available for walk-ins who prefer to design on canvas rather than pottery.

Q: Can I schedule a private canvas class for me and my friends?
A: You sure can!  Call the studio or stop by for pricing and details. 765-488-2163.

Q: How much seating do you have?
A: We have room for 24 seated painters in the main area, and room for 8-10 in the party room.  However, if you are wanting to schedule a larger party, call the studio at 765-488-2163 and ask to speak with Maria.  We may be able to arrange for your group to be set up in the upstairs of the nearby Firehouse BBQ & Blues Restaurant.  Paint The Towne may also be available to set up at your desired location elsewhere.

Q: Do you do birthday parties or corporate groups?
A: Of course! Check out the "Parties & Groups" tab to the left.

Q: Can we leave our kids there?
A: Behaved children over the age of ten are welcome without an adult.

Q: Are food and drinks permitted in the studio?
A: Yes!  We don't mind you enjoying your cup of coffee or snack while working on your artwork.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: We accept all major credit cards except American Express.

Q: Can you do it for me?
A: We'd be happy to help, however we know you want to explore your creative side!

Q: What if I'm not creative?
A: We have all kinds of techniques, stencils, stamps, and polka dot makers to help you decorate your piece!
