Q: What is the cost, and when do I pay?
A: Adult studio fee is $5.00, children under 16 is $3.00. Studio fee includes use of all studio tools, stencils, paint, glaze & firing. The price of the pottery ranges from $5 - $30 depending on the size and intricacy of the piece.
Payment is required at time of painting.
Q: How much time should we allow for painting?
A: It generally takes one hour to two hours depending on the intricacy of the piece, design and the level of perfection the artist wants to achieve.
Q: Do we need to make an appointment?
A: For walk-ins or on the weekends, we recommend you make an appointment for a group of 4 or more painters. Otherwise, you are welcome to come in any time during regular hours. Just make sure to allow yourself plenty of time to paint before closing. If you are attending a class, you must make a reservation.
Q: What if I do not finish painting my pottery?
A: Don't worry! We will hold your "work in progress" piece for 60 days. There is a $5.00 studio fee each time you return to work on your piece.
Q: How long does it take to get our piece of pottery back?
A: It takes 4 - 7 days to overglaze and fire your piece. We will call you when your piece is finished and ready to be picked up!

A: Of course not! Paint The Towne offers a variety of Canvas painting classes for adults and children! See the "Upcoming Events" tab for details.
Q: Do I have to attend a class to learn different techniques that I see mentioned on this website?
A: No, our employees will be more than happy to give you one-on-one advice on creating your masterpiece! Canvases and acrylic paints are available for walk-ins who prefer to design on canvas rather than pottery with limited guidance.

A: Our main studio space can accommodate 40 painters and an additional 30 in the party room. However, if you are wanting to schedule a larger party, call the studio at 765-488-2163 and ask to speak with Maria.
